Arts Advocacy Day at Nevada Legislature to feature Carson City post-party, artist lectures
Following the Arts Advocacy Day at the Nevada Legislature, a post-party hosted by the Carson City Department of Arts and Culture will happen Friday, March 15 from noon to 5 p.m.
The party will take place at the Union Restaurant located at 302 N. Carson Street, from noon to 4:15 p.m., and from 4:15 to 5 p.m. attendees will move to the Martin Hotel for a Basque Heritage and Picon Punch presentation.
The schedule of events is listed below:
— 12:30 p.m. lunch and lecture with artist-in-residence Zet Gold from Las Vegas
— 1:15 p.m. Performance by Rimsky-Korsakov String Quartet from Saint Petersburg, Russia
— 1:40 p.m. Break
— 1:50 p.m. Reno Arts Consortium Monthly Meeting
— 3:15 p.m. 'Lightning Round' Presentations by Silver City Arts Group, City of Reno Arts and Culture, Tahoe Arts Alliance, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare and the City of Sparks.
Ending with the Martin Hotel Basque Heritage and Picon Punch presentation at 4:15 p.m.
