Carson City sheriff's arrest log: Woman arrested for felony probation violation
Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested Sarah Nicholson-Jones, 36 of Carson City, Tuesday night on South Park Drive for felony parole and probation violation, and a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area on a report of a suspicious vehicle. They contacted the two subjects in the vehicle, and found that Nicholson-Jones had an outstanding warrant. In addition, Parole and Probation wanted her held on a violation charge. She is being held without bail.

On Tuesday afternoon, a deputy on the Special Enforcement Team conducting a saturation patrol due to recent burglaries, spied a vehicle with two young male occupants who stopped in front of a house in the 5000 block of Edmonds Drive. According to the report, the two men exited the vehicle and walked up to the house, looking inside the front window.
When the deputy approached, the subjects said they were there to inquire about a car for sale. The homeowner was contacted and confirmed their story. However, a records check revealed a misdemeanor warrant out of Reno Township for one of the men, a 25-year-old from Carson City. He was taken into custody, and his bail set for $1,059.
Deputies overnight arrested four other persons for outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

A 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday evening in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive for misdemeanor first offense domestic battery. According to the arrest report, the subject had been drinking, punched her boyfriend in face. Her bail was set at $3,137.
