Carson Boys Stop Miners Hot Streak
The Carson Senators handled the Miners of Bishop Manogue, notching a 45-38 victory Friday night.
The Miners came into the game looking very strong and most likely believed that the game wouldn't be nearly as competitive from start to finish as it was.
The first quarter of the match up featured a defensive first quarter from both squads, but the Senators managed to keep the lead going into the second quarter at 13-6.
Quarter two was when Manogue really began to dial down their shots and make the game significantly more competitive with a score of 20-18 Carson at the half.
The third quarter was incredibly back and forth with neither team really working up a lead of anything worthy of mention. The back and forth battle left a score of 30-27 Carson going into the fourth and final quarter of action.
The fourth quarter was just as heated as the previous three quarters and after a very intense back and forth battle in the final several minutes, the final score of this contest showed Carson coming out as superiors at 45-38.
