Nevada Space Day 2011
Space Science for Schools is proud to announce Nevada's first Nevada Space Day 2011 celebration at the Carson City Airport. Nevada Space Day 2011 is designed to encourage students to consider studies and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Nevada Space Day 2011 will feature a busy schedule of over 25 space-related, hands-on activities and investigation for the entire family. Among the day's many highlights will be two interactive on-site Planetarium shows, comet making, operating LEGO™ robots, "Alien Spaceship" building, flights over Carson City and the opportunity to visit with space and aviation experts.
